[Webinar] Why Upskilling Alone isn’t Moving Your Talent Forward: What the 2026 Education Index Reveals

Date: Thursday, November 5, 2026
Time: 12:30 PM EST
Duration: 45 Minutes
Providing access to education is important, but access alone does not create internal mobility. New findings from the 2026 Bright Horizons Education Index reveal that 83% of employees are motivated to build new skills, yet 47% do not know where to begin.
Employees need clarity about which skills to develop, how learning connects to business needs, and where those skills could take them next. Without that direction, even well-funded education programs can remain disconnected from career pathways, manager conversations, and internal opportunities.
In this webinar, EdAssist by Bright Horizons experts will share findings from the EdIndex and explain where the connection between learning and advancement commonly breaks down. They will also discuss how a more strategically designed education program can reduce financial barriers, provide meaningful guidance, and align employee development with workforce priorities.
You’ll learn:
- Where the path from learning to advancement breaks down
- Why internal mobility stalls despite investments in education
- What workforce-aligned, accessible education programs look like
- How targeted education pathways work in practice
